Electrified Transportation: Workshop for Utah Local Governments by Salt Lake City Sustainability Department

Please join Salt Lake City Sustainability, Utah Clean Energy and staff from partner organizations at a workshop on March 14th to explore ways that cities, towns and counties can help drive electrified transportation solutions that harness innovation and reduce air pollution.

The workshop will focus on best practices and clean air solutions documented in the new Electrified Transportation Roadmap created for local governments in Utah. Workshop content and interactive exercises will appeal to a diverse range of local government leaders. City Managers, Budgeting & Finance, Fleet Management, Planning, Elected Officials and other staff are welcome to join.

Presentations and breakout discussions will focus on the below topics for the first two hours. You’ll then have an opportunity to see electric vehicles first-hand as part of a “Ride & Drive” hosted by Utah Clean Cities from 11 am – noon.

– Emerging Electrified Mobility Solutions

– Education, Incentives, Outreach and Policy
