November Clean Air Caucus Meeting

November 16, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Our final Clean Air Caucus meeting of 2021 will soon be here. We are pleased to announce that Representative John Curtis will be joining us virtually from Washington D.C. at the beginning of the meeting at 6:30pm, which will be in Senate Room 210 on Tuesday, November 16. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1487802214730249 Rep. Curtis has been busy on the clean air and climate change front this year. He is the Chairman of the new Conservative Climate Caucus, with over 60 Republican members of Congress. Rep. Curtis also recently traveled to Scotland with other Republican members of Congress to attend sessions of the United Nations Climate Change Conference – COP26. Conservative Climate Caucus: https://curtis.house.gov/conservative-climate-caucus/ After we hear from Rep. Curtis, we want to hear from you. We have traditionally set aside most of our last Clean Air Caucus meeting for discussion about clean air legislation and appropriation requests coming in the upcoming session. If you have a bill, resolution, or appropriation that has a clean air or climate focus, will you please contact one of the Clean Air Caucus co-chairs and let us know that you would like to talk to the caucus about what you are planning on the clean air front for the 2022 session? And, of course, there will be pizza! Please join us Tuesday evening, November 16th, 6:30pm, in Senate Room 210. You can also join us virtually, but you’ll have to supply your own pizza!
