Reducing Emissions, Improving Fuel Efficiency with In-Wheel Motor Electrification
Transportation electrification has been slow to reach rural communities despite its tremendous potential to improve mobility options for residents and support regional greenhouse gas reduction goals. The Clean Rural Shared Electric Project, CRuSE, seeks to implement a financially-sustainable all-electric carshare in the rural community of Hood River, Oregon. Forth, a nonprofit committed to advancing transportation electrification, is leading the project and other project partners such as Envoy Technologies, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities Coalition. This webinar will highlight the goals and lessons learned to date of this innovative project.
