ChargeWest: West Electric Highway, formerly CORWest

EV Corridors in the Intermountain West,  aims to support consumer education, stakeholder engagement, and rural infrastructure development of electric vehicle charging from the expansion of alternative fuel corridors.

The goal of ChargeWest is to support electrifying the intermountain west alternative fuel corridors in three main areas: 

  1. Remove barriers investment to enable private station development
  2. Identify key infrastructure gaps and develop solutions to deploy charging stations in rural regions require to complete corridors
  3. Develop replicable educational tools to encourage EV consumer awareness

REV West
Regional Electric Vehicle Plan for the West - Memorandum of Understanding. Arizona , Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming Regional Electric Vehicle Plan for the West. Governor's from eight western states - signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) to provide a framework for creating an Intermountain West EV Corridor that will make it possible to drive an EV across major transportation corridors in the west. NASEO is facilitating support to the Signatory States as they implement activities outlined in the MOU, including creating best practices to enhance EV adoption, coordinating on EV charging station locations, creating voluntary minimum standards, and leveraging economies of scale.
CORWest
EC Corridors WEST - USA. Building regional connectivity through an 8 state partnership to create the Largest EV Corridor Collaborative designed to scale & replicate nationally.
  • Remove barriers investment to enable private station development
  • Identify key infrastructure gaps and develop solutions to deploy charging stations in rural regions required to complete corridors
  • Develop replicable tools and templates to encourage consumer awareness around EV options and education on the benefits
ChargeWest TM
West Electric Highway - Electrified Corridors of the Intermountain States. ChargeWest TM is a collection of Intermountain West states which committed to improving electric corridors across the western United states; building infrastructure for rural gateway communities, state and national parks, monuments, recreation areas and scenic by-ways.

The states involved are Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
