Drive Electric Utah is one of twenty-four states partnered in Drive Electric USA which involves the Department of Energy, Vehicle Technologies Office, Clean Cities Program, Industry Leaders, Dealerships, and Energy Service Providers to transform and build America’s Transportation future today!
Led by Utah Clean Cities, this initiative is aimed towards educating individual consumers with information and facts about electric vehicles in order to increase the adoption of electric vehicles in Utah. Drive Electric Utah provides information about how electric vehicles work, which EVs are available in Utah, home and public charging information, incentives and deals to reduce electric vehicle-related costs, and other pertinent information, such as blog posts on varying EV topics and EV clubs available in Utah. It also provides webinars, events, virtual ride and drives, and coaching.
14 STATE COLLABORATIVE PROJECT
Drive Electric Utah is part of a large multi-state project – Drive Electric USA.
Drive Electric USA is an initiative dedicated to raising awareness and adoption of EVs across the United States. By including statewide initiatives, collaboration with stakeholders and organizations, and teaming up with other Clean Cities Coalitions, the Drive Electric project is essential to making a difference for clean air and clean transportation. Drive Electric USA is a collaborative effort comprised of a group of diverse stakeholders, including Clean Cities Coalitions from fourteen states, electric vehicle and EVSE OEMs, and other committed partners who are dedicated to raising awareness and adoption of EVs across the United States. With Utah Clean Cities leading Utah’s efforts through Drive Electric Utah, this initiative will engage individuals, utilities, legislators, dealerships, and others towards removing adoption barriers and accelerating plug-in electric vehicle use in our states.
