Community Initiative for Transportation for Equality
C.I.T.E
The Westside Wheels for Change (CITE): Transit and Training Initiative, led by Utah Clean Cities and Communities, addresses transportation inequities and workforce gaps in Salt Lake City’s near-port Westside communities. Focused on EPA non-attainment zones, the initiative partners with UTA, Salt Lake City International Airport, and Weber State University to expand transit access and provide advanced EV workforce training, supported by community listening sessions and the ongoing Voices of Hope film series.

Utah Women in Trades supports pre-apprenticeships, apprenticeship guidance, skills training, networking, and job placement in construction and electrification careers.
ASPIRE
ASPIRE at Utah State University advances electrified transportation & offers workforce training in automotive, EV systems, charger installation, powerline work, & advanced mobility fields.
Accelerate Internship Program
Opportunities are available year-round for students and recent graduates in fields like engineering, business, marketing, and urban planning, with hands-on projects in alternative fuels, infrastructure, and community outreach.
